ABOUT ME

I am Chris Dennis and I live in Cowbridge with my wife and two children. From an early age I have always enjoyed DIY and gardening. Even as a toddler I loved nothing more than the magic of helping my Grandpa dig up potatoes on his allotment. 

 

Over the past 20 years as a family we have bought and refurbished 5 houses doing a lot of the work ourselves. I have also carried out a variety of jobs for friends and family in my spare time.

I originally trained as a Surveyor in the early 90s and have spent the last 25+ years as a Building Maintenance Manager working for two of the largest commercial building maintenance companies in the South West of the UK.

The recent global pandemic made me re-evaluate a number of things and I decided to embrace my passion for DIY, give up the stressful 9-5(ish!!) job and set up my own handyman business. Even before I had made my business cards I had completed a number of jobs for people and had repeat business from happy customers.

I also have another passion for all things vinyl and have turned this into another business in which I buy and sell records. I sell online and also have a corner at Pretty Vintage Things Antiques shop in Llantwit Major. I sell quality records at sensible prices.
